About Spices
Spices restaurant in Islington’s Chapel Market serves extremely high quality Indian and Bangladeshi dishes in a restaurant that’s like Indian restaurants you used to know. The green awning welcomes you into a newly-renovated, old-style restaurant that’s partly takeaway and partly dining room, so while it’s not a place to impress a design-victim, it’s certainly a spot to thrill a foodie. The staff has old-fashioned courtesy, the owner is smiling and the freshly prepared dishes really reach the heights. They will even create new dishes for you. Everything is good, but do try the Dallsha. Oh, and bring your own wine or beer.
Please note - this restaurant does not take tables larger than 6 diners on Friday and Saturday evenings. The last sitting time is 9pm every day.

Forget Brick Lane and the bland slop pushed by the touts, Chapel Market street is the place to come for a curry. There are a few quality curry houses here, and Spices is probably the best of them. Ask the owner for his recommendations for the best experience.Review
