About Spicers
Set in the luxurious and modern Crown Plaza Hotel, Spicers has always been popular with local professionals working in and around the Blackfriars area. The contemporary interior, with its dark wood and bold red accents, is a stylish yet informal space – just right for low-key business lunches and after-work meals. Head Chef Bruce Smith is passionate about tasty and inventive food, and uses only the best British ingredients available. The menu includes dishes like Welsh air dried ham with honey truffle figs and shaved parmesan; beer-battered cod with chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce; and homemade salmon fish cakes with garlic and parsley mayonnaise. Spicer’s set menus offer excellent value for money and they are also open for breakfast – perfect for an early morning refuel.

I took clients to a lunch at Spicers and the service and food was of a high quality.

Spicers in the Crown Plaza hotel has a nice atmosphere and the staff were very polite and friendly, however not ver attentive. Service was quite slow and it was hard to get their attention. The food was nice, the toilets are the main Crown Plaza toilets and you have to go down 2 sets of stairs outside the restaurant to get to them.Review
Prefer the other restaurant in the Crowne Plaza for lunch but it was full. Food is fine and the service was too. Great location for a meetingVisitors
