Souma restaurant in Paris is an intimate, zen-like place that serves cuisine from the four corners of the world in charming surroundings. Souma is the patronne, too, who offers everyone a warm, friendly welcome and looks after her diners as if they were friends. The small restaurant is kitted out in bright orange and yellow detailing against plain white walls, wood tables, and leather banquettes. World music creates a convivial ambience. The cuisine is traditional French and innovative global and sometimes a combination of the two. A favourite dish is the Thai tuna with noodles and the dessert of nems au chocolat, but there are also classics like filet of beef Rossini.
