About Soul Restaurant
Soul Restaurant is one of Derby's hidden gems, buzzing with local foodies and ladies-who-latte. The warm, intimate atmosphere and bistro-style dining room – complete with wooden floors, leather chairs and coffee-coloured walls decorated with paintings by local Banks Mills artists – is ideal for long lunches and chic evening meals. With most of the menu sourced locally, the monthly-changing menu reflects the very best of the East Midlands. We love the signature Soul Burger with tomato and herb chutney on a toasted home-made foccacia; the tiger prawn linguine with basil, mint and parsley cream with lemon; and the asparagus and broad bean risotto with basil pesto. Souldeli's wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced – with up to fourteen bottles under £20.
This venue requires c/c details for a deposit of £10 per person for bookings of 8 people and over. This deposit is non-refundable if any cancellation or ammendments are made within three days of the date of the booking.

Soul was a welcome oasis of calm in the unremitting horribleness of Derby. A perhaps overadventurous menu with some truly bizarre food combinations was prepared with fresh, delicious ingredients, and the home-made breads and ice creams were superlative. Worth going to for the desserts alone.Review
Soul Deli provided a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and really great food for my birthday. The staff were attentive, the meals arrived quickly and the menu was spot on. Arranging a meal for a large number of guests can often be quite traumatic, but Soul did me proud. I had 20 guests and most of them approached me after we'd eaten to compliment the food. Well done Soul Deli !Visitors
