About Snows on the Green
A congenial local spot if ever there was one. Sebastian Snow’s welcoming restaurant overlooking Brook Green has been keeping the good people, young and old, of Shepherd’s Bush well fed and happy for well over a decade. Praised for its quality and originality, the (set) menu changes every Monday, so there really is something for pretty much everyone. The brave can tuck into foie gras with fried egg, while traditionalists can feast on a 10z rib-eye steak with escargot butter, French fries and green salad. Snow works wonderfully with simple ingredients and cuts. Lovely side orders. Compact, nicely constructed wine list. And top class service. The outside tables are a joy in summer.

Mon - Fri 12pm - 3pm, Mon - Sat 6pm - 11pm, Closed Sat lunch, all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Lovely warm creamy soothing twinkly surroundings. The service was not intrusive but within reach whenever you needed them. They were knowledgable of the food they were serving and the wines. We had a lovely Chablis. Good for relaxed business, romance and groups as long as seductive peace and more'ish food is ok with you.

Arrived on time and table was waiting for us. Unfortunately as we’d book only a couple of hours before this meant being seated at the very rear of the restaurant way past the bar and into some windowless like cellar room hence the low ‘ambience’ score. Food was pretty good about the level I expected. Ordered a Chardonnay to start but when the waiter returned with a second bottle it has mysteriously turned in to a Sauvignon Blanc. Not usually a problem but having our original wine then topped up with something else was a little annoying, especially as when I pointed out this error there was some degree of questioning regarding my memory (Grrr). Might go back, might not..Review
We went to Snows on the Green for a work leaving lunch. The food was lovely and the menu interesting. I had venison which was divine.Visitors
