Perched at the top of Charing Hill, Silka is a step above most Indian restaurants in this part of Kent. The first thing that hits you is the whiteness – everything is the same crisp, clean colour, bar the cool blue neon lighting.
A reception area with sofas and a bar leads to two dining rooms, one with a dance floor in the middle. The extensive menu is atypical in terms of familiar dishes. What stands out is the careful presentation; everything comes on big white plates, sauces drizzled to form elegant swirls.
