About Shimla Pinks - Manchester
Asked to mentally picture an Indian restaurant, few of us would imagine anything quite as bold and gorgeous as Manchester’s Shimla Pinks. Part of a trusted chain established in 1989, this fun, funky eaterie is decked with modern furniture and art, has comfy sofa seating areas and is awash with natural light. Mixed with all this modernity are the traditional Indian values of hospitality and service. Black-clad staff are friendly, hip and helpful. A well written menu lists an enticing mix of traditional (thalis, jalfrezi, passanda), less well known (harrey masaley ka gosht) and earthy North Indian tandoori dishes - all served with fragrant basmati rice, salad, mint yoghurt sauce. Delicious. Nice vegetarian choices, and good value lunch options.

Had a great evening at Shimla Pinks in Manchester, the food was outstanding, couldn't fault the service, we used this as our Christmas night out and the restaurant was lively. Would definitely go back and recommend to other Diageo teams

We went to Shimla Pinks without any real expectations, on a recent trip to Manchester and were very pleasantly surprised. The Indian cuisine was of a very high standard, as was the service.The 50% off offer through yourselves meant that we had a gourmet banquet each for only £14.95 in total for the food.Superb! My OH said that he doesnt think that he has ever eaten so much in one sitting!Review
Shimla Pinks was a disapointment. The food was of a low quality and the service was like a Greek restuarant only the plates had my food on it and they were trying to break them on the table rather than the floor. Ambience was more like eating in a 1960s town hall. You can get a better indian for less in many other Inidan restaurants in ManchesterVisitors
