About Shimla Pinks - Birmingham
Asked to mentally picture an Indian restaurant, few of us would imagine anything quite as bold and gorgeous as Birmingham’s Shimla Pinks. Located on bustling Broad Street and recently refurbished, this fun, funky flagship eaterie is decked with modern furniture and art. Mixed with all this modernity are the traditional Indian values of hospitality and service. Black-clad staff are friendly, hip and helpful. A well written menu lists an enticing mix of traditional (thalis, jalfrezi, passanda), less well known (harrey masaley ka gosht) and earthy North Indian tandoori dishes - all served with fragrant basmati rice, salad, mint yoghurt sauce. Delicious. Nice vegetarian choices.
Opening hours:

Shimla Pinks was a lucky find. Not being native to the area, I had to 'hunt' by review alone and I have to say, we were not disappointed. Top points for ambience and the unusual art around the perimeter was an interesting touch, guaranteed to make this a memorable evening - Thanks SP!Review
We visted Shimla Pinks for my boyfriends birthday(41st) we will not be going back ! Service ok but food was, one word-slops and exspensive!. The music was to loud and we would not revisit even if they offered a free meal.Review
First class food and service. The choice was amazing, different and good value. The best Indian Restaurant I have been in so far.Visitors
