Shaw's (Nottingham) was a lovely find. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. It was nice to find the table ready and waiting for our arrival.

When entering Shaws its a hidden delight. You are met by courteus team member with a smile. The food is delightful and the service a million to one. This restaurant is very highly recommended infact try yourselves. Victoria and her team are fantastic nothing is too much for them. Thankyou for another great night.

Were met in a very friendly way as was the service throughout. Salmon Gravadlax had interesting accompaniments and was lavish in proportion, Melon with Parma Ham made more interesting by the addition of Elderflower Sorbet. The Calves Liver was superb and cooked to perfection and the Bubble and Squeak was more than just cabbage and potatoe. One enjoyed the dessert of icecream stuffed crepes, one found it rather heavy. Excellent value for money compared with a 'chain'meal eaten previous week.

Food and Service Excellent. Victoria and her team are highly professional and hard working. Always a smile . To be sure Shaws is a restaurant where i will tell my friends and for definate we will be back. Well done.

A lovely evening at Shaw's. The mash with my lamb was a bit lumpy and the onion in my Gravad lax was overpowering but the service was really excellent and it was a great place with a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go again when next visiting Nottingham.

Shaw's in Nottingham - My wife and I had an Anniversary meal there on a Saturday evening, the ambience was perfect as was the food and service. Booking through Toptable was a doddle and we received a free glass of wine too. Highly recommended.

The Roast Rump of Vale of Belvoir Lamb with Dauphinoise Potatoes and Red Wine and Rosemary Sauce (the name says it all) was superbly done. The only let down was the ballerina sized salad. Overall, what a meal!

There were 4 in our party and we all enjoyed the evening, the food was excellent + good value for money. The service was friendly and they apologised on serveral occasions for the wait between courses, this was due to a large party. I will definitely be returning.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
