This restaurant is slight hidden in Bloomsbury, but definetly worth the visit,foods imaginitive and taste genuinely indian,not like your usual curry house, friendly service too,

Salaam Namaste - Food is excellent. However, the tables are too close to each other. The table next to us had one of the diner's chairs right against our table. The ladies' toilet was also very tight for space.

The food at Salaam Namaste is terrific. I'd recommend diners to sample the speciality menu, rather than stick with tried-and-trusted favourites; they won't be disappointed. The chicken breast stuffed with lamb and spinach is wonderful, as is the cheese paneer. Initially, the waiting staff were slow to bring the water requested (needing two reminders) but apart from that, they were courteous and alert to our needs. The prices are reasonable without the discount - with it, it is a great bargain.

Salaam Namaste has good Indian food, and an extensive menu. I dined with both a person with a great deal of knowledge about Indian food, and one who had only tried it a few times and both were pleased. It is located on a quiet street in Bloomsbury, and is a good venue for a nice relaxed meal. The crowd is older. The prices are reasonable, and the portions very good. A much nicer experience than brick lane.

As previous reviews mention, its more about the food than the atmosphere. My main complaint is that I had been overcharged by about £10 as they had difficulty calculating the discount I was due through top table.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
