Teppanyaki cooking is all about theatre. So Preston’s Sakura has focused in on the dramatism of their signature dishes to create a funky, high style restaurant with a buzzy, bar feel. Inside you’ll find two stunning levels decked out in thoroughly modern Japanese style – paper lanterns hanging over low dark wood tables and a bright, welcoming bar area. The best seats in the house are undoubtedly the stools which line the teppanyaki. Here you’ll be able to enjoy the spectacle of your dinner being not only cooked but flipped high while flames leap in the air in front of your eyes. In addition to the teppanyaki dishes you’ll find a selection of sushi, sashimi and noodle dishes plus great value set menus.
