The Sahara is a little off the beaten track but well worth the journey. It wasn't very busy when we got there but don't let that put you off! The food was fantastic and service exceptional. The menu has something for everyone and reasonably priced for it's location. I will be definitely returning.

Never judge a book by its cover. From the outside, the Sahara restaurant doesn't look much, however once inside it couldn't be more different. Having been to Morocco and eaten true Berber fare, this restaurant had a lot to live up to. The tagines were superb and we would highly recommend the platter for two for starters - a varied selection of extremely tasty delicacies. We would certainly pay a return visit and would encourage others to give it a chance!

Sahara Restaurant - The venue was clean, peaceful and the atmosphere was romantic. The food was excellent. Sahara is a good place to go to try something different or unusual that you wouldn't be able to get in other restaurants. A good mixture of sweetness and spice in all the dishes we ordered.

Was a nice dinner out for 2, staff were attentive and happy to offer suggestions when asked. Food was lovely and restaurant not crowded.

Food very good, staff friendly and polite, ambience was possibly slightly lacking but I think that was just because it was a quiet night. Will definitely be going back!

Yes, Sahara was quiet as other reviewers have said (my sister and I were the only diners at 7pm on a midweek evening), but this wasn't a problem as the service was friendly, relaxed and unobtrusive. Food was as good as we had hoped, and reasonably priced. Recommended.

At the Sahara we had a warm and friendly welcome. The menu was varied with dishes to please every palate. We consider this to be a find and will definely go again.

Sahara is a nice cosy moroccan feeling restaurant. Not a huge menu, but something for everyone (a halal-meat-only eater, a vegetarian, a non-lamb eater and another not so fussy). Food was tasty, though the veg tagine was a bit overloaded with potato. Service was very friendly and helpful. A better atmosphere once a few more people arrived to dine.

We both really enjoyed Sahara without being bowled over. We'll definitely go back and are thinking about having a 'do' there. I was particularly impressed with my monkfish tagine with prawns. It's a family business and they are very friendly and helpful. We drank the only rose on the list and thought it was pretty good for the price in a London restaurant and a little different.
