The Sahara restaurant and bar is a lovelly place for a night out. The cocktails are fabulous, and the service in the restaurant is above the usual, even for a similar priced establishment. Do try one of the signature dishes, they're certainly worth the label!

Nice food and great drinks at Sahara but quiet considering it was a Friday night.

Good food-preferred starters to mains. Great service, very attentive without being intrusive. In a fab location-right in Oxford city centre!

I've eaten at Sahara before and decided to take my family out for a meal there, when they came to visit recently. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar, and as there was a 21st party in full flow around us, the barman kindly asked us if we'd prefer to sit in the quiet of the restaurant upstairs while we had our drinks. This was much appreciated! The food we had was great (I'd recommend the fish pie and the lamb) and the staff couldn't do enough to help. I'll definitely be going back again!

Due to the large size of the party we had to order from a set menu but there was something for everyone on it. Sahara were very flexible when numbers had to change and the food was good. Lively atmosphere, would definitely try again.

The Sahara is definitely a find; there is a smallish interesting menu, the food was well prepared ,cooked and presented. The six of us were alll impressed, and the scallops and magret de canard earned high praise; Our table luckily was at one end of a narrow upstairs restaurant, but when full ,diners are inevitably close to other diners and their noise levels. The downstairs bar is a comfortable and fun studenty place to begin the evening

I had a very enjoyable evening at Sahara - the food was excellent, service attentive and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Despite being tucked away down an alley, it was busy at Sahara both in the restaurant (upstairs) and bar (which had a good selection of drinks and cocktails!) The waitress knew immediately about the Toptable offer which is 10% off the total bill in the restaurant, and so overall I would recommend Sahara for a relaxed evening out.
