Since 1992 Saagar (previously Little India) in Mullingar has been renowned for it's graceful and implicit understanding of the subtleties and nuances of Indian cooking. To enjoy such cooking Saagar is worth anyone's detour into the town. The menu is very extensive, whether you order the staples of Indian cuisine, or go for the creations such as murg makhani or the sublime zaffrani zhinga; this is great cooking.
