We visited Room late on a Wednesday evening and there were only 2 other tables dining and 2 people in the bar. Other than it being quiet though the food was lovely and service great.

Had a great evening at Room in Manchester. Beautiful building, good atmosphere, lovely food & very good service. Definitely make sure you stop for a cocktail in the bar afterwards!

We spend a very memorable evening in the room in Manchester. The service was faultless and very attentive. The ambiance was great and the was very good with an unusual twist of the 70th. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely ambience, even for a Thurs night. Cool decor. Food great - interesting twists on retro favourites. I'd not had baked alaska for YEARS. 9/10 - GO THERE!!

My boyfriend and I went to Room on King St for an early meal before a concert. Therestaurant setting is really nice with dark woods everywhere and the right mood lighting to eat but also make you feel that you are not sat too close to the next table. The choice of food on the menu is pretty average, although it is presented well and tastes good. Brill for drinks and a quick bite after work but wouldnt make a trip there for a special occassion.

i found the place very different to alot of places i had eaten at and this was a good thing, the food for the price was not as good as id hoped but still nice food, the service was not great, and when i got the bill they had added a servie charge, i hate places that do that as it is optional and should never be added unless asked first, for two courses and four drinks 70 pounds, would eat there again but not for a while,
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
