Trowbridge’s Red or White is an innovative combination of independent off-licence, restaurant and wine lounge. A pair of dining rooms serve an ambitious Modern European menu of grazing platters (dinner only) followed by pan-seared duck breast on leek and bacon potato cake and Madeira jus. Perhaps the best but is you get to choose from the 600+ wines in the shop, paying a nominal £2.50 corkage. So, if you’re up for finally gambling on those wines you’ve been curious about, you know where to go.

- Parties of over 12 people are required to pay a £5 deposit per head. This deposit will be lost if cancellations are not made over 24hrs in advance
