About Redmond's
An excellent neighbourhood restaurant - Redmonds has built up a loyal following in Sheen but is also a draw for others in the South West London area. Redmond is owner as well as chef, and an excellent one at that. His wife Pippa dispenses charm and bonhomie and the combined effect is very good food and a friendly informal atmosphere. Special themed evenings and cookery demonstrations with Redmond are also on offer. What's cooking: Modern British cuisine. Signature dishes include game in season (October - January), roast cod with mussel, spinach and saffron risotto, chicken and foie gras terrine, red onion marmalade, roast seabass, crushed new potatoes with smoked salmon and creme fraiche, sauce vierge, seared scallops, Granny Smith and rosemary fritters, cider soup and maple syrup ice cream.

Had heard this was a good find and that it had received good reviews. The food - good and well presented. Staff did not know the menu or wine list. Just two tables in use on a Friday felt odd!Review
Excellent front of house service, innovative and excellently prepared food. Good wine list. Cheeseboard especially good.Review
A lovely tidy, clean restaurant that serves great food. The service was fantastic, the early bird menu was great value however there was definitely a lack of atmosphere, some music may have helped!Visitors
