Menu small, but good. Atmosphere awful - breakfast room of the Holiday Inn, and Christmas music being piped through! Expect black pepper in every dish (including desserts). Staff inexperienced.

Rasa Maricham focuses on Kerala food. It's very spicy indeed, but a welcome change from run-of-the-mill indian food, and extremely well prepared. Service is really very slow, but attentive, thoughtful and helpful. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is in the Holiday Inn - and do be encouraged bu the easy parking in the area. All in all an extremely enjoyable evening.

We enjoyed our meal at Rasa in Kings Cross. We were a little wary about the fact that it was based in a Holiday Inn but they had made the restaurant very comfortable and the candle on the table made for a romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious and very filling.

We had a really lovely dinner. Black pepper is the theme and this flavour was pervasive but also subtle at the same time. The dessert we shared (payasam) perfectly balanced the meal. The food is really excellent. Service was also really good. Rasa Maricham is located in a hotel so the atmosphere is not the appeal. It was still fine - quiet and spacious. Toilets are a bit far from the restaurant. I highly recommend you give this Rasa restaurant a try if the location is convenient for you.(found 4 reviews)
