On arriving, Randa had lost my reservation, and I was made to state my name and telephone number. Apart from that, the meal was lovely. You are given many complimentary nibbles, and a free glass of house wine, so be careful about the number of starter you order. As starter go, I recommend the spicy homous, and the grilled halloumi cheese. Main course, I had the cubed lamb and vegtables, which was so filling I could not finish it. We skipped dessert, but you are even given nibbles when paying.

I don't usually like the idea of a cover charge but here it earns a big bowl of fresh salad vegetables as a pre-starter - and then a big bowl of fruit to complete the meal. Service is patchy but the food and wine are good and reasonably priced for the area. It's just a shame that the lamb specialities never seem to be available !

Felt the place was a little over-rated. Located well next to Kensington High Street. I have tasted better lebanese food elsewhere... The food was not as tasty expected. Staff could have been more friendly and approachable.

Stumbled across Randa as a very last minute booking on a Friday night (after having a reservation at Pappillon cancelled!). I have not been a big fan of Lebanese food, but Randa has changed my perception - from the fiery Lebanese salad to the refreshing baba ghanoush, the delightfully spicy flaked fish (I think it was called "sayadiya") and the succulent lamb shank, the quality and freshness of the food shone through.

Randa for lunch, Saturday 22nd October 2007. Great restuarant. Had the set lunch with a huge assortment of dishes, all nicely presented with great flavours. Service was efficient and discrete. The best thing was the cost - only £95 for lunch including 2 glasses of champagne and a bottle of wine, which has got to be good value for Kensington in London.

The staff at Randa were extremely welcoming and we chose to sit on the mezzanine level which was quieter than the downstairs area. The decor is modern and the food delicious and the service impeccable.
