About Prosecco

Prosecco welcomes you with a warm greeting and gently glimmering candles on each table, and offers an authentic take on the feel and flavours of rural Italy. The menu at this friendly, family run restaurant (named after the sparkling wine of Veneto, the wine growing region of northern Venice where head chef Diego Da Rae grew up) is based around recipes passed down from grandmother to grandchild, yet Prosecco is not limited to an old fashioned selection of dishes – diners looking to stray from the traditional Italian fare will delight in the presence of the likes of the chicken liver pate with black grape chutney, alongside Prosecco’s other tantalising inclusions.

The food at Prosecco was delicious, freshly cooked and nicely served. The two staff on duty were friendly and attentive. Overall we felt we had good value for money and shall return. The only real downside is the difficulty of parking in Clifton village. You need to allow time to find a space if travelling by car.

After finding Prosecco on toptable, i thougt it would be a perfect chance to go up to cliffton village and have a great meal. We went during peak hours, and parking was difficult to find, and so was finding the place as it was only my 2nd time in the area. Staff there were very pleasant, ensuring that our booking remained despite being an hour late due to traffic. They were also accomodating to one of the members in our group who was lactose/gluten intolerant. The food was great!!

We received a really warm welcome at Prosecco, lovely food, wine and service. My friends had been there before and went for the steak and pork belly which looked amazing. I had Tuna Carpaccio for a main which was a very generous portion and good quality fish. The Gnocchi also looked really tasty. I think we ended up paying about £35 each including wine and it was worth it. I would definitely visit again.
