About Pride Of The Valley
Named after a local beauty spot, and built in 1867, The Pride of the Valley hotel in Farnham, Surrey, is home to one of the areas most luxurious restaurants. The chic, understated interior – with wood-panelled ceilings and walls, an open fire, over-sized tables and super-soft cream leather chairs – has a warm and welcoming family-run feel. The dining room has a Wine Wall which holds a comprehensive selection, with at least 8 wines by the glass at any one time - and the hotel also boasts a large private garden ideal for barbeques and private cocktail parties. We love the twice roasted belly of pork; escalope of French veal; and the Champagne, rhubarb and Bramley apple crumble.
Opening hours:
Tues - Sun 7:30am - 9:30am, 12pm - 2:30pm & 6:30pm - 9:30pm

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Pride Of The Valley. The restaurant was relatively quiet so lacked some ambience but the decor, food, wine and service were superb. Having chatted with the manager it appears it's taking some time to build up a loyal customer base since the restaurant changed ownership some months ago. However, I have no doubt that word will quickly spread - our meal was superb from start to finish. Highly recommended.Review
Enjoyed a good dinner at the Pride of the Valley restaurant with my family for a birthday celebration. Beautifully cooked local lamb. The chef has such an enthusiasm for the food he cooks. This hotel/restaurant has improved enormously thanks to the new owners. I would recommend this restaurant and will be going back again soon. I understand from a friend that the bar snacks at lunchtime are excellent too.Review
Pride of the Valley is a cheeky little number tucked away along a country road. There are two parts, a bar area which also serves meals and seemed very nice but the restaurant was lovely, would not be out of place in central London. It was very quiet but then again in was a Tuesday night. The service was on the ball and very enthusiastic and the value was fantastic, starter, 2 mains, desert, tea, and bottle of wine only £66. Would def go back, maybe explore the beer garden on a Sunday!Visitors
