Concentrate your mind on the restaurant for a sec: a tropical conservatory with tiled floor, thriving plants, wicker chairs, wooden tables. Start with chicken liver and pecan nut pate with red onion, then share an amazing seafood platter with your dining partner. The wine list is blinding, with nearly twenty by the glass and Portobello Gold’s children’s/grazing menu must be the best in London. Set menus change with the zodiac months. Every Sunday Portobello Gold serves delicious roast dinners with all the trimmings, catering for vegetarians as well. No dinner served on Sunday evenings.
