About Porters English Restaurant
Way back when the piazza was still a working fruit and vegetable market, the 7th Earl of Bradford has the good sense to establish this fine tribute to traditional English fare. Now surrounded by all things trendy and slick, Porters remains a bastion of our culinary heritage, along with Simpson's in the Strand and Rules on Maiden Lane. But unlike its fellow true Brit restaurants, Porters is refreshingly relaxed and child-friendly. It also has a firm grip on pricinig, so its menu shows surprising value for money - an unexpected treat for all Covent Garden locals and visitors.
