About Pizza Metro
Every London ‘village’ should have a good-time Italian trattoria like Pizza Metro. Gorgeous Italian staff moves expertly, mighty pepper grinder held high, between white table clothed tables. The cooking ticks all the boxes too, not least the impressive strips of thin-crust pizza - measured by the metre and laid down the centre of the table on a scorching hot-plate - that wouldn’t taste out of place in Naples (no silly toppings or deep-pan malarkey here). Then there are the fresh antipasti, meat, fish and pasta dishes that - clichéd as it sounds - remind you of being on holiday.
Please note - this restaurant does not take bookings of larger than 4 diners. On Friday evenings there are 2 sitting times: 7:30pm and 9:30pm.
