The PinkOlive is a good restaurant for the price 3 courses at ~£19 and two and one less than that was brilliant for the food that was offered. The food wasnt at Michelin standard but it was trying very hard to be. However the prices werent that either which is the great thing. Mostly I loved the tomato and red onion tart....YUM. Small venue though and cramped when busy - and it was busy - which is a good sign!

The food was excellent at the Pink Olive and offers excellent value for money. Service was attentive but not over fussy. The Haggis ravioli was surprisingly good. Wine list varied and well priced.

The restaurant was very quiet but we had a lovely meal. On the whole the food was excellent- however, i would steer clear of the coffee creme brulee. Service was great!

Pink Olive is a good venue for a reasonably cheap evening meal. I've been there three times now and will keep going back until I've worked my way through the menu! It can be a bit of a squeeze getting past the tables beside the bathroom, but as long as the diners are friendly that's not a huge problem.

The Pink Olive is one of the best value places ever. Service was excellent and the food delicious. The only reason I haven't given it 10 is that my creme brulee was slightly too sweet (but I am v fussy about my puddings). The only reason I haven't given the loos 10 is that the men's facilities seemed far superior to the women's (even though the Ladies did have handcream the men's apparently had a cactus AND classic car magazines which meant my husband was away for a v long time)!

Amazing value for money really. Good food, again though trying to be more than perhaps it should be. Just be proud of the good food and forget being overtly fancy with it I say
