The outside of the venue looks a bit dire, but inside with the view of 'het ij' the restaurant is quite nice. The food was good but a bit overpriced, I was surprised that the stewed meat was Eur 19.50. Service was very good and they had a wondeful dessert wine!

What a great little bistro - 2 small rooms with about half a dozen tables each, one with a bay window looking across the water. The service is very slow by UK standards, but very courteous and friendly - so expect 30mins before ordering and 30mins between each course. However, the food is worth the wait - the menu was varied and creative and the food outstanding. Nice small choice of wines at very reasonable prices. Would definitely return

At Pier 10 we got more than we bargained for, we got there early, got a pick of the tables on the (non-smoking -yay!) terrace, the ambiance was perfect, the red rose on the table was delightfully romantic, the service was special and the lamb..oooh the lamb, I felt useless, it was so tender there was no need for me to chew! Perfect! Amazing! Lovely! I scored BIG time brownie points with my boyfriend for booking this restaurant!!

I went to Pier 10in a party of 8 from round the world. The reastaurant is small and right next to the water near Central Station. The food was delicious and well prepared..the pear special dessert raising particular delight. For brits the appearance of Quality Street chocs with the coffee was a little odd...and they don't take credit cards..but there is a cash machine nearby. The food, service and ambience will draw us back, with an earlier booking and bigger group next year.

We ate at Pier 10 in Amsterdam. Had a lovely evening. Very nice atmosphere,good food and friendly staff. Food took quite a while to arrive, but we weren't in a rush, so wasn't a problem for us. Enjoyed watching the ferries coming and going from the pier next door!

Ate at Pier 10 on our first night in Amsterdam. Slightly difficult to find, but were rewarded with fantastic service, delicious food and a great view of the sunset over the water.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
