I took my husband to Pied a Terre for his birthday treat and we really enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the service very attentive, if at times a little over-attentive. The ambience was good, but not quite as relaxed as some places we have been, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. A very special evening.

lovely food at pied a terre if a little pricey even for this type of restaurant. service is excellent and there is a sense of occasion. however we have had better meals at claridges and l'atelier, and the atmosphere at those places was more special. i'm glad we went but probably wouldn't return. the food wasn't special enough to warrant the price.

Pied a Terre Imaginative food but too rich for our contemporary taste with too many rich extras (amuse bouche/many things with coffee), possibly to justify the price. Service impeccable, but a bit cathedral like!!

We went to Pied A Terre on Friday night and had an excellent meal. Food was all of very high quality as you would expect at this level, as was the service. Ambience was somewhat lacking and we felt a bit uncomfortable seated on our slightly rounded 'sofa' both facing out into the restaurant - it makes you feel a bit 'on show' rather than being intimate. Bar upstairs is very small so don't bank on being able to have a drink there.

Pied a Terre - went for mine and my partners 4 year anniversary. For a Saturday night the restaurant lacked a little ambience and although being full, was a little quiet. However, the food and service made up for this and was perfect. The service was attentive and yet not over the top. The food was the best I had ever had and even my fussy and snobby partner agreed! A must for all special occasions. Cannot wait to return.

Went to Pied a Terre for my anniversary. We had the tasting menu and my partner had the wine pairing as well. Before you even get the heavenly meal, you are served some amazing hot and fresh bread, then you are served 4 complementary canapes which are lovely. The wine pairing gives you a good chance to test your nose and palate because they will not tell you what the wine is until you have finished the course. The overall experience was wonderful and would go back again.

Took my husband to Pied a Terre for a birthday treat - he said it was the best meal he has ever eaten. I only wish it was in Leicestershire so we could eat there more often !!
