About Pied a Terre

Fitzovia’s foodie haven – Charlotte Street - is home to some of London’s top restaurants, but none are more fabulous than Pied a Terre. Decorated in understated aubergine tones, with low lighting and modern art adorning the walls chef, Shane Osborne has chosen to let his food do the talking here. The modern French menu changes frequently and features dishes like scallop ceviche with avocado and creme fraiche; roasted sea bass with baby squid, pumpkin and chorizo puree and one of Osborne’s signature dishes - bitter sweet chocolate tart with macadamia nut cream. Pied a Terre boasts an impressive 800-strong wine list and the service is second to none. Perfect for business lunches, special occasions and romantic dinners a deux, this two star Michelin gem really is hard to beat.

24 hours notice of cancellation otherwise there will be a charge of £50 per person. A credit card is required to reserve a table for parties of 4 or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. A fee of £50 per person will be charged for a cancellation within 24 hours or a no show. A credit card is required for all bookings on a Saturday night.

I took my husband to Pied a Terre for his birthday treat and we really enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the service very attentive, if at times a little over-attentive. The ambience was good, but not quite as relaxed as some places we have been, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. A very special evening.

lovely food at pied a terre if a little pricey even for this type of restaurant. service is excellent and there is a sense of occasion. however we have had better meals at claridges and l'atelier, and the atmosphere at those places was more special. i'm glad we went but probably wouldn't return. the food wasn't special enough to warrant the price.

Pied a Terre Imaginative food but too rich for our contemporary taste with too many rich extras (amuse bouche/many things with coffee), possibly to justify the price. Service impeccable, but a bit cathedral like!!
