Pearl Liang makes a lovely evening out I'm sure - I went with my friend at 6pm so we didn't get the full ambience of a full restaurant but it was still very nice (although the staff always stood near our table which I found a little unnecessary!). Veggie food was great and they were very helpful in adapting dishes. Recommended!

Booked Pearl Liang for business lunch; the Dim Sum set menu is excellent value for money and well presented. Other dishes from main menu were well cooked but pretty ordinary. Very nice decor though. Service could be a little slow at times but was very polite once you had got their attention. Would return to dine in the evening; would be interestting to see if there was a diiference to service and food quality. The rating from the other diners with me was 7.5 overall.

I went to Pearl Liang with some friends a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the Dim Sum. The second occasion was with work colleagues and the 'set' menu. The food was OK, but would certainly recommend the Dim Sum! Still had a great night, excellent service and soft shell crab. Would recommend.

Booked lunch at Pearl Liang and opted to for the a la carte menu this time - yummy crispy chilli beef, prawns with cashewnuts and ginger/ garlic chicken, served with plain rice and Malaysian style hor fun. Crispy beef was served cold in parts but when we mentioned it, they took it away and heated it up. Good service and ambience although it was difficult to attract their attention as the restaurant was heaving at lunchtime! All in, a good meal and experience.

Pearl Liang, Paddington. The Dim Sum special at £9.60 for ten pieces represents excellent value for money. Thjis includes a delightful cold tapioca desert that sets the rest of the meal off wonderfully.

We just had a quick lunch and so I can not comment in great detail. Good food regardless!

Checked out Pearl Liang with three other work mates on a Thurs evening. Lobster noodles was tasty (although lobster a bit small), the scallop dumplings were good, would recommend the prawns in mandarin sauce and fried rice with chicken and salted fish. Overall a good dining experience. Interesting looking tap/sink in the toilets according to fellow diner.

Pearl Liang - food was ok, setting was ok tho' a little lacking in atmosphere, value for money was average. Would go back again to try the dim sum but better places around for dinner.

First of all, It's quite difficult to find. I had to call my friend from taxi (you have to go down stairs from square). Once you are in, it's very nice though with cool modern interior. It was half empty even on sat. perhaps because it's very spacious place or it was hidden in the middle of concrete buildings? Food/cocktail /service were all good. It must be very popular place if it was located in central london. Pity.
