About Pearl
The Pearl is a chic, contemporary Cantonese restaurant found in Nottingham’s West Bridgeford. The dark Oriental furniture and mood lighting give the ground floor a peaceful and intimate feel. Order cocktails and snacks from the bar, or move to the Skyline lounge and sink into the Chinese silk banquets for a casual lunch or stylish meal. The upstairs a la carte restaurant is dotted with Chinese lanterns and is perfect for a romantic occasion, or a special celebration. Traditional Cantonese dishes such as Stuffed Duck in Plum Sauce, Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup and Fresh Lobster in Ginger and Spring Onion Sauce feature on the extensive menu.

The ambience and decor in Oriental Pearl, West Bridgford, is very good and we really enjoyed our romantic meal. Some of the waitresses didn't speak very good English and one didn't know what Bailey's was - but to be fair she asked her colleague nearby who was very good and made it a large one. Excellent cocktail bar downstairs too.Review
Mini review this time - make sure you get (a) the Hong Kong beer on tap, it goes down marvellously with the food, and (b) the wok fried dumplings, they are out of this world. All the other key elements of a top Chinese are here, sadly that includes the unimaginative deserts. The starters and mains are reason enough to visit.Visitors
