Excellent food and service (and a first rate wine list) at Patrick Guilbaud's restaurant in Dublin, but I still think it represents poor value for money when compared with similar establishments.

Without doubt, one of the world's finest restaurants - with a price tag to match. For a special occasion or a romantic evening, there is nothing better - on either side of the Irish Sea.

The Patrick Guilbaud restaurant was excellent. The service was very good, attentive, but not fawning. The food was, as you would expect from a double Michelin starred establishment, outstanding.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The food was gorgeous, the cocktails were fab and there was an excellent wine list. Patrick came to check on us, the service was as you would expect of this sort of establishment. The restaurant is probably one of the priciest in dublin, but every mouthful was a pleasure.

Patrick Guilbaud is truly a fine dining experience - so French: From the service to the fabulous wine list. The service was superb, very knowledgable waiters and sommeliers which made the wine choosing somewhat easier. The menu is perfect - just enough choice and variety. We shared the aged Irish beef, cooked rare and it was perfect. Sadly we couldn't mange a dessert and just as well with the very generous petits fours. This place is a real treat, expensive but worth it.

Patrick Guilbaud was a truly impressive restaurant. The food delicious, well presented and carefully put together. The service was fantastic and everyone extreamely plesant and knowledgeable about both the food and wine. The restaurant is set in a lovely building which added to this special experience.

Ive been to Guilbaud a few times now - it never fails to deliver and the lunch is particularly good value for the quality of the food and service

The lunchtime main course was really disappointing - my monkfish was stringy and so undercooked it was a worrying pink colour. however the service was excellent and the dessert delicious.

This was a outing to celebrate a special occasion and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud succeeded in making it memorable. Food wonderful particularly Mushroom Risotto, Lobster Ravioli, Cote de Boeuf Black Sole and a sublime Lime Souffle. Service was excellent led by the maitre d' who made the whole party feel special. A great evening in a restaurant which manages to avoid pretension and preciousness. Worth E200 a head? On balance yes, but that price demands that performance every meal. Bon Courage!
