This was not the first time I've been to Patara. Again it didn't dissappoint. Food and service were excellent as usual. Do have to recommend the soft shell crab and green mango salad, chicken coconut soup, black cod with ginger in yellow bean sauce and coconut tart with stem ginger ice cream. That would be your ideal four course meal. Very classy decoration and ambience. Would definitely go back.

We visited the Patara - Greek St in january - The food & service is excellent. Only complaint was the noise in the downstairs restaurant is loud and there was a partciualrly loud large group near table. Try the scallop starter , nothing finer anywhere in Thai resaturant in London

Food was superb and came in a presentable fashion. Marked them down one on service a sthey didn't know what Morgan Spice Rum was, although it was on their shelf "at the front" they still struggled to find it!! tut tut - Toilets were not the most fragrant I must add! poor for Restaurant of this qualtiy!! Other than that I enjoyed the meal. I even was served a clean knife when mine fell on the floor by accident.

We dined at Patara Greek St. for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Plus: excellent atmosphere, very romantic and fantastic food! The Minus: the mildly spicy was quite spicy for me, the prices would suggest a higher toptable category, not really a less than 25ppp restaurant but totally worth the money!

Patara served delicious and varied food. My sister who is vegetarian had a separate menu to choose from and everything we choose was beautifully presented, if sometimes a little small. Sadly we had to leave to catch a show so had no time for dessert. I think this was down to our continuous talking and not slow service. It was a lovely meal.

The pressure was on as I needed to find the right venue for the perfect second date. After scrolling through just about the entire list, I chose Patara in Greek Street and could not have been more satisfied with my choice. Everything - the food, the service, the ambience was ideal. If things work out, I forsee many more meals together at Patara!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
