About Paradiso E Inferno
This family-owned Italian restaurant in the heart of the West End has long been a fixture on the London pre and post-theatre dining scene. Located on the corner of the Strand and Southampton Street, Paradiso e Inferno dates from a time when eating Italian was an exotic pursuit, and the decor of the restaurant still marks it out as an exuberant outpost of the vivacious side of Italian character. Business folk flock here in the daytimes, but in the evenings there are waves of diners before and after curtain as well as courting couples who linger through the evening in the booths. What's cooking? Italian trattoria cooking. Starters include tuna fish with borlotti beans and onion rings, mozzarella and tomato salad, andseafood salad with olive oil and lemon juice. Pasta dishes and mains include standards like spaghetti bolognese and fettuccine Alfredo, fried scampi, and pepper steak, as well as grills and soups. A Neapolitan mix of ice creams is good, as is the tiramisu. Drink the coffee. They know what they're doing.
Paradiso E Inferno is located on the corner of the Strand and Southampton Street.

paradiso e inferno had dinner on a wednesday evening got seated ok but the waiter had a long face i dont think he smiled once while we where there, the starter was nice but i had the sword fish for main and it was the worse fish i ever had at a restaurant my companions meal was ok but i wouldn't go there again, its basically cheap for the location and you get what you pay forReview
Over the years this has always been our favorite restaurant when coming to London from Guernsey to see one or two shows in the westend. Our children have now grown up but still remember it well. This time we were in London for our wedding aniversary and booked our table for the first time with top-table. We had our favorite table, overlooking the Strand and the food was once again exellent and the service second to non. We will be back!!Review
Paridiso E Inferno - Food was average and over priced. Service poor - felt rushed and not valued as a customer at all.Visitors
