We went to Original Tagines as we were craving Morrocan and wanted to avoid the more touristy areas or over the top themed restaurants. The starters were excellent however I was disappointed in the mains. Although everything tasted very fresh there was not the depth of flavour I expected in my Lamb Souss and my friend's food was cold and had to be reheated. The service was fine however it seemed that perhaps she was new or confused.

One of my favourite restaurants in London (and I go to a lot!) - consistently great food at great prices.

Original Tagines Lovely food, intimate atmosphere. Real value for money. A little out of the way if you work in the city, but definitely worth the trip.

Our visit to original tagines was very pleasant indeed. Good service, excellent decor and atmosphere. The food was tasty, well presented and filling. It did the job in every sense. I would most certainly recommend original tagines and will most definately be returning to try out another spectacular dish.

We had a great evening at Original Tagines, the first time we went there. Very pleasant ambience - simple bistro interior. The food was excellent, we had mixed mezze starters which were delicious, and tagines (obviously) and couscous. All tasted great, as did the Maroccan rose we drank. We were asked to move tables to make space for a large group, and were unexpectedly rewarded by free desserts and mint tea. A highly recommended place. Will definitely go back.
