About Orient Express - British Pullman Train
Originally conceived by George Mortimer Pullman as a “palace on wheels”, the Orient Express British Pullman train is the stuff legends are made of. The exquisite 1920s art deco design of each carriage - featuring intricate marquetry, mosaics and crystal chandeliers – is a homage to the golden age of rail and The British Pullman's Executive Chef Matthew Smith has created a menu which epitomises decadent dining. The train can be hired for private parties and celebrations, and signature dishes from this dining room on wheels include the fillet of sole and crayfish served with seared salmon, squid ink pasta, caviar and champagne sauce; and the ballotine of Kentish guinea fowl filled with a tomato and tarragon mousse wrapped in Parma ham.
