About Oliver's Bistro
Oliver’s Bistro restaurant in Blackpool’s Lancaster House Hotel is a five minute walk from the madness of the promenade and the famous Tower, a haven of culinary excellence and personal attention in an all too often mass-market town. Executive chef and patron Barrie Roberts has years of experience in four and five star kitchens, and he brings it all to the cuisine at Oliver’s. With his partner Maria Noto, he offers a very high level of service throughout your dining experience. The a la carte features British and French dishes created from the freshest of ingredients, from complex dishes like grilled fillet of sea bass with crab risotto, mussel and cockle tomato broth to simply and beautifully prepared steaks. The décor is bright and modern, and the open kitchen lets you enjoy watching the man at his craft

Toptable only has two venues in Blackpool, one is a curry house and the other is a gem of a place called Oliver's Bistro. Maybe I'm used to London prices but their menu was top-notch at excellent prices, talk about value for money. The wine list was very good and again very reasonable in price. With Oliver's on the scene there is clearly more to Blackpool than sticks of rock and mushy peas.Review
Certainly for the Blackpool area, this has to be one of the best. May not be to London standards but it sure beats the competition in the immediate area. Service was great and the food was well prepared.Visitors
