The Olive Press.All in all an ok meal the service was very good but being ten days before xmas the restaurant was very loud and made it almost impossible to have a conversation. Parties should have been away from smaller groups. Have had a better meal at the Clitheroe branch.

I arranged our office Christmas Do at The Olive Press in Bolton. Nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere, however some of the "relaxed" feeling had spread to the waiters who could have been moore attentive. The food was nice, but nothing to write home about. Great value for money. Would go again.

Dined at the Olive Press in Bolton, Service was way beyond what I have experienced before, food was fantastic (highly recommend the garlic bread for starters), although the restaurant was busy and people were waiting in the bar area, we were never rushed i.e. courses were delivered to the table when you were ready for them. Prices were very reasonable too.

I went to the Olive Press - Boton, with my husband on a rare night out and we thoroughly enjoyed it, staff were very pleasent and knew the menu. Starters of Soup & baked Mushrooms were fine, mains of 21 day hung rump steak with pepper sauce and the lamb with mediteranean vegetables were cooked to perfection. We passed on the sweets as we were too full but had filter coffee. Would we go again? Definitely!

The olive press in Bolton was a very nice place to for lunch, a little quiet but then more time for good service. A bit disapointed that two things requested from the menu were not available! but the food we did get was good fresh and tastie..

Our visit to the Olive Press - Bolton, was on a Bank Holiday Sunday evening and was pleasantly busy. The welcome and service was very friendly and efficient. The menu was comprehensive with a few unusual choices and as there were six of us dining so we had a variety of menu selections and not one of us was disappointed. It all tasted very fresh and flavourful with decent size portions. My only small gripe, was that the toilets were very hot which made for an uncomfortable start to our visit.

Olive Press - Bolton... the food and service as usual is great here... they cater well for small children, offering high chairs and even a free dining for very small children. The only criticism I have is about the prices... they are far too high for an Italian chain restaurant and bar but as far as Bolton goes, this is about the only decent place to wine and dine so give it a try.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
