About Nutmeg
Nutmeg’s evangelical band of regulars have only one complaint it puts them off trying any of London’s other modern Indian restaurants. This smart shiny floored, white-walled venture specialises in outstanding ‘golden oldie’ curries like vindaloo and dhansak, alongside house specials like hash mussalam grilled duck in a rich lentil sauce. Sirloin steak and chips, and baked salmon come to the rescue of those suffering spicy food apathy. Very nice staff.
Please be aware that the last sitting time for lunch is 1:30pm.

A terraced garden at the rear (a rarity in an Indian restaurant in London) makes for lovely al fresco diners.

Nutmeg is a little gem. The food is delicious, the service attentive and the interior very well done. It is an Indian restaurant which excels itself to being more boutique restaurant with the same prices as a standard Indian restaurant!
