About Nooris Indian Restaurant
Nooris is a red-fronted modern Indian set among Brighton’s seafront hotels on Ship Street. It’s split over two rooms - bar with tables and chairs (rather than sofas) to the right, and a larger restaurant to the left, with spotlighting flatters an attractive burgundy, mustard and white décor in both. The menu holds no surprises – balti, korai, jalfrezi and passanda dishes and co. are all here, alongside a handful of specials such as jungle masala. The tandoori mix is recommended if you like a bit of everything. The best tables are the six in the windows. Diners are an unremarkable mix of locals and guests from surrounding hotels.

Review
Although the restaurant didn't look like much from the outside the inside decor was very nice and modern, without losing the essence of a good 'curry house'. Apart from one surly waiter (there's always one) the service was excellent and very efficient. The food was delicious and the selection on offer had some nice unusual dishes as well as old favourites. We were very pleased with the quality of our meal for 6 and loved the pickle selection too! Would definitely go there again.

My Sister and I went to Noori's for the first time in years and were impressed with the new decor. We booked through Top Table and got the 50% off food deal. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Our Nan bread was hard, the rice which cost £3.95 had what looked like frozen vegetables in it and the two curries we ordered were nothing special. I am sorry to say, we will not be going back even with the 50% offer!Review
Not impressed with this restaurant at all, i ordered a peshwari which is their alternative to a korma as I can't anything too hot.....it was very hot indeed. Service was unattentive and the waiters all looked bored. Will not be visiting again.Visitors
