About No. 5 Bistro
No. 5 Bistro serves modern French cooking in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Daytimes attract the business lunchers, while evenings are candlelit and intimate. Specials change daily, main menu changes seasonally. We recommend starters like the saute of lamb's sweetbreads and mushrooms in pastry with Marsala sauce, followed by mains like marinated, grilled poussin. Homemade soup is usually irresistible. There's a great bring your own wine offer -- no corkage -- on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Please note on Saturdays this restaurant has 2 sittings only at 7pm and 9pm.
Opening hours:
Mon: 6.30pm - 10pmTue - Fri: 12pm - 2.30pm & 6.30pm - 10pmSat: 12pm - 2.30pm & 7pm - 11pm

dined at no. 5 bistro great atmosphere and food was good . tuna was quite rare but a little too much tomato/pepper sauce.Review
No 5, Bath for lunch was slightly dissappointing. The food ,however, was excellent value for money, the lunch special was 7.95 for 2 courses, the tarte flambe was delicous. The service was just ok,the watress was a little brisk and plates were thrown down on the table. Loos were grubby and the staircase leading down to them was dirty and in need of decoration. Everything looked and felt a bit tired and dated. Not a memorable meal........Review
No. 5 Bistro An exellent restaurant with very good service and a lovely ambience, myself and my girlfriend enjoyed our night very much. The food was top class and would normally expect to pay alot more for a meal as good as that. The staff were very friendly and we did not have to wait ages for our food.Visitors
