About Neichel
Jean-Louis Neichel's classic Barcelonan restaurant features inventive Mediterranean cuisine in a lovely setting. Sr Neichel is in the kitchen, while Sra Neichel greets you at the door. The partly-tiled, vault-like bar is where you enjoy your aperitifs before moving into the small, formal dining room, flooded with natural light at lunchtimes. It overlooks a garden rich with lemon trees, lavender, and rosemary. The exquisitely-presented food features dishes like starter of crispy scampi and caviare with salad in Forum vinegar, main course of wild turbot loin with roast onion shoots and aniseed veal jus, and dessert of rum-caramelised banana, papaya and mango with spice bread and banana chips.
A credit card is required to secure a reservation, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of €30 per person
