About Mon Plaisir
In days gone by, Mon Plaisir in Monmouth Street was frequented by a slighty louche artistic crowd and it claims to be London’s longest surviving French restaurant. Mon Plaisir represents an oasis of old Covent Garden amidst the tourists and chain stores. Efficient waiters, consistently good trad french fare and still one of the best attracting everyone from tourists to celebs.

Excellent service. Waiter attentive, friendly and gave us time. Food was typically French bistro and in general very good value for money.Review
Food was good but not as good as I remembered; menu limited but some dishes still unavailable, notably the partridge I ordered. Service was good, though knowledge of esp wine by some staff not ideal, obviously parroted from a script. Cheesesboard, tho', was memorable as ever. Tables very close together and our dinner, and that of the people on our left, was marred by three very loud men at the table on our right. Since it was peak Xmas period, we will try again to give benefit of doubt.Review
Mon Plaisir was as ever reliable and a very enjoyable experienceVisitors
