About Mint Restaurant Music Bar
Mint Restaurant Music Bar is somewhat a haven of tranquility in an otherwise bustling area of Brighton. Hanging baskets and rustic bare wooden tables and floorboards give it a fresh almost summery air. This down-to-earthness is reflected on the walls where large chalk boards list appealing and seasonal Modern European mezze, mains and specials at decent prices. There are vegan as well as vegetarian options (the vegan cake is lovely). Relaxed by day, the place glams up a little at night when people of all ages and backgrounds come to enjoy the twice-weekly mixed bag of live music performances from pianists, barbershop singers, ska artists… Nice staff.
PLease note - the kitchen generally closes at 10pm in the evenings, but may open earlier or later depending upon demand.

Review
Ate at Mint Restaurant last night with a large group of friends and we were all really impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. Excellent live guitarist strummed along in the background whilst we munched on tasty med inspired menu - the halloumi is gorgeous - crispy on the outside and gooey inside - yum! Others enjoyed the fish stew and lamb shanks. Was slightly quiet for a Saturday but that is probably due to the off the main drag location - I would definitely go again when I'm in town!

Mint restaurant in Brighton is hidden away in one of the Lanes. The place has a nice vibe, with live music and the staff are very friendly. Inspite of the other reviews I would say the food is okay but not spectacular. (I think they were a chef down the night we were there so that could be the reason.) On my experience I would say Its a good place to drop into with a group of friends for drinks and snacky food rather than a place to go for dinner.Review
Mint offers great fresh food, relaxed atmosphere - it was a Thursday early evening, and interesting wines -worth finding! very pleasant staff, well presented food, clean and light.Visitors
