About Min Jiang
Kensington has never been lacking in the restaurant department but it now has an extra slice of Eastern glamour thanks to Min Jiang. A new breed of Chinese restaurant, Min Jiang occupies a stunning position high above the city on the tenth floor of the beautiful Royal Garden Hotel. With simply incredible views across parks towards skyscrapers, there really wasn’t any need to put too much effort in to the interior. However a red, white and black colourscheme gives a traditional yet cliché-free Chinese theme, attractive black and white photos and always fresh flowers ensure an interior every bit as beautiful as the view. Particularly inspired by the Sichuan region, Min Jiang’s menu is packed with spectacular Asian flavours from the various parts of China.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 12pm - 3pm & 6pm - 10:30pm

Portions are on the small side but quality was amazing. Tasteful yet minimal decor, allowing the great view of the kensington gardens stand out in the background. Peking Duck is highly recommended, so is the crispy eel and black pepper beef. Will definitely go there again. The staff was very attentive and patient at explaining the dishes, which is rare in chinese restaurants.Review
Great, authentic cuisine served in excellent surroundings. Staff were rushed when we visited, despite restaurant not being full (teething problems given recent opening). Kitchen was on top of game and when staff did have time, the service was impeccable and knowledgeable - a rarity!Review
The restaurant gorgeous and the views wonderful but this isn't why you should go. The Dim Sum's are among the finest to be had and the main's are pricey but incredibly generous in size and flavour. Have the cinnamon cheese cake for dessert if only for the green tea ice cream - exquisite.Visitors
