About Mill Street Restaurant
Walk into the low-lit, club-like lounge bar, through the circular curtain of bronze, cinnamon and chocolate striped silk, and a revolving glitter ball will tell you that the Mill Street Restaurant focuses as much on fun as on the food. The raucous atmosphere, fuelled by the content of cocktail glasses and champagne flutes, and the razor-edged humour of your sharply dressed, Tintin-coiffured host will put you in the mood for high-energy relaxation. In one word: one of the most funky restaurant rooms in Northern Ireland. The food combines a level of glamorous experimentation (try the deep fried oysters or the salad of soft quails eggs) with an interesting level of the cliché (give the "black and white fillet steak" a try) but the combination works perfectly and the only way to integrate into the atmosphere is to be equally courageous with the order.
