About Mill House Hotel and Restaurant
The Mill House Hotel starts with an obvious advantage: its gorgeous setting in the heart of the Cotswolds. And the restaurant, with AA Rosettes under its belt, makes the most of its surroundings by using everything from Cotswold-raised lamb and beef to freshly-caught fish from Brixham harbour and organic vegetables from the Vale of Evesham. It’s an attractive place, with perfectly-laid tables and a steady buzz of conversation. Start with sauté of white asparagus with crushed pea risotto and poached quail egg, then try pan-fried wild turbot or saddle of rabbit stuffed with tomato, black pudding and thyme and served with fondant potato, baby spinach, and truffle and Madeira jus. Still hungry? Elaborate desserts include apple tarte Tatin with cracked black pepper ice-cream and walnut syrup. And you really should check out the cheeseboard, which has rare British cheeses like Single Gloucester and Cerney Ash.

Mill House Hotel & Restaurant. This is really Britan done really well. Set within the Cotswolds means that it is easy to spend a wonderful afternoon before dinner. The food is very well done - i particularly recommed the mango tart etc for pudding. The two mains we enjoyed were well executed. The service was good to.Review
