Millers Restaurant is the brasserie of the Holiday Inn Corby-Rockingham: a great base for exploring Northamptonshire, within easy reach of several famous landmarks (including Althorp, home of the Spencer family). Spacious and warmly lit, it’s a popular spot with business people, holidaymakers and local groups on a night out. Starters include country pâté, punchily flavoured and served with good tangy chutney and chunks of fresh bread. There’s an interesting choice of small plates and salads for smaller appetites, from chicken Caesar to pasta with Mediterranean vegetables. For something more robust, try the hearty fish pie, packed with salmon, cod, mussels and prawns, or rogan josh with onion bhaji, rice and naan bread. There’s a different choice of desserts every day and the service comes with a smile.
