An unusual and unique Indian restaurant serving country style cooking in a colourful setting. The staff are attentive and service is an important element, aimed at making customers feel at home. This is a particularly suitable spot for a party or group outing - Mela has special set party menus to make eating en masse easier.
What's cooking? Chicken lababdar (that's LABABDAR not Labrador), bengal fish curry, chicken malai tikka.

A very fine genuine Indian restaurant (the waiter said firmly at one point to my guest "we are NOT a Bengali restaurant!). Slightly odd two class system - toptable diners have a superior and more expensive menu to walk-in diners.Review
A group of 5 went to Melu for a meal on a mid week night. The food was very good and the waiters were constantly on hand to order more wine. Using the toptable offer (2-4-1 on main courses) i would recommend others to dine there.Visitors
