About Mayur
In the centre of Liverpool, Mayur is proof of just why this cosmopolitan city deserves to be named 2008’s City of Culture. Bringing an authentic taste of India to Merseyside while retaining an air of European sophistication, Mayur is a welcome change from the typical Tandoori. The contemporary interior is opulent yet welcoming with a tongue in cheek take on flocked wallpaper, gorgeous monotone tones and splashes of colour thanks to tasteful artworks dotted about. Chef Uday Seth has brought a modern take to authentic Indian cuisine through his stylish, delicious dishes which are easy on the eye as well as the palate.

We visited Mayur last night and my mouth is still watering at the thought of the amazing food! It was a tad exensive but well worth the treat - especially when you factor in the fantastic service. The abundance of dishes on the menu can be daunting but our waiter was on hand to help us choose. Well worth a visit, congratulations Mayur!Review
Took 21-year old for birthday celebration on a visit to Liverpool and was very impressed with staff's handling of the meal and producing a cake without notice. Food quality is good (on a par with London equivalents) and restaurant is spacious and comfortable without being cold. Service was the best experienced in a long time (and we eat out three days a week at least). Wine list good and very reasonably priced. Side dishes are, however, over-priced.Visitors
