We enjoyed the set menu at $18. Service was excellent. No complaints. Parked right outside but maybe we were lucky. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Had a great Chinese at Maxims. Definitely one of (if not the best) Chinese in the Ealing area. It was busy for a Tuesday night, which was encouraging. The service and food were both good. The food was not too greasy like that found in many other Chinese restaurants. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant - will definitely return again. We ordered far too much food though!

Our 2nd time at Maxims was as delightful as the first (and this was a difficult feat as our expectations were much higher this time). The waiter steered us in a better direction than we had planned. We enjoyed the tempura soft shell crab with the fresh ginger and chilis in the salad that came with it. Mains were great and the banana split was a special treat. The ambience at Maxims is fantastic and the restaurant was completely full as it usually is when we walk by, even on a Monday night!

We went to Maxim on a Sunday night and it was fairly busy. We are a Chinese family, and I would say that the food was generally geared toward western people but was still really good. All the dishes came together quickly and were reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Maxim.

I went to Maxim Restaurant with my partner for our two year anniversary and we thought that the atmosphere and decor was lovely. As for the food we chose the set menu, the sweetcorn soup and peking duck was very good, however I wasn't as impressed with the main course as the 'beef' looked more like fat than actual beef. The sweet and sour pork was good, the vegetables were a bit on the salty side and the egg fried rice with ok. Dessert was lovely. Would consider going back.

Maxims was an unexpected delight. Having lived in the area for years, we finally tried the place and wondered why we hadn't been there sooner! The service was first class, the food was exceptional, the ambience was very sleek yet warm and comfortable and the bill was very reasonable. We will definitely be back!
